JasperSoft management  v  SourceForge management

In Re:  Essentia Eating SourceForge's Lunch?

...things to ponder...JasperSoft is private but obviously positioning itself to IPO...Google ended negotiations to acquire digg.com (also note comments updating digg.com acquisition status)...LNUX announces q4 fy 2008 at the end of this month...will JasperSoft attempt to LBO LNUX?...is LNUX in negotiations with JasperSoft and or digg.com...SourceForge lacks technologists blindsided by web 2.0, in general, and digg.com in particular...

Note: Of significance, SourceForge was [not] a sponsor of OSCON 2008 (JasperSoft was and tends to present an arguably statistically signficant correlation of mindset/vision...) and Gopi Ganapathy, Founder, President & CEO of Essentia, was a founder of Enlite Networks serving as it’s President and CEO from inception in 1999 until it’s acquisition by CollabNet in 2003. SourceForge owns appx 9% of Collabnet as cited and documented elsewhere on this Blog.

SourceForge did, however, set up a booth to provide tatoos for the OSCON attendees as announced by digg.com while Essentia and JasperSoft were breaking news and holding breakout sessions at OSCON.

A better title for this Blog would have been:

Is LNUX's SourceForge(.net) also being blindsided by Open Source

infrastructure technology/technologists as LNUX's  [slashdot.org] was by Web 2.0/digg.com?...no vision...no CEO...no coordinated passion...
