Over Worked and Job Cuts Coming

April 23, 2008 – Comments (6)

It looks like financial companies should be hiring workers to deal with the workload from deliquent accounts, but as anyone who's been following the markets knows, the financial industry is laying off workers.  What I found interesting in this article is how overworked those handling mortgages are and that there were 90,000 more deliquencies in a period they were able to handle 50,000.

This is going to be long and drawn out...

The "Limp Indicator" - LMAO

It took a while to stop laughing at that... This was a good post as usual. That article alone is worth gold(or a gallon of gas). That was shocking when I read about the restrctions on rice purchases. I doubt it's going to hit American's as much (for now) unless the 1:3 chance of a global drought occurs this year.

Wow abit, restricting food sales in America... That's going to create some panic buying.  World supplies will be even more stressed as people make sure they have increased food supply at home.  Living where I do right now I was dead serious when FB had a blog about hording food or something and I said I'd just loaded my car.  I'm two hours from a real grocery store.  Just a very expensive little general store here.  So, when I was in Vancouver over spring break I loaded up on staples.  I haven been to a grocery store for almost 3 weeks and I probably won't go this weekend.  I think I'm going to stock up even more for next year.

Escrooge, I would like to see the a return of the cash grabs by the executives.

AnomaLee, I wonder when I post extra links in comments if people look...  I thought that one was pretty funny as well.

wmo52, I was just reading an article that mentions that Europe has much stronger job protection policies, the very last paragraph in this article on China's growing resentment about the declining value of the US dollar.
