Paperless society

For the last however many years there has constantly been talk of moving to a paperless office.

More recently companies such as Amazon have promised to revolutionize the book with products like its kindle.

At this point in time there is no technology that can compete with the look/feel of a paper book or newspaper.

However papers days are numbered.  In the next few years the tipping point will be reached.

Newspapers will no longer be delivered to your door, they will be downloaded to your newspaper reader wirelessly overnight.  Same with your weekly magazine subscriptions.

Any one have any suggestions on good plays related to this thesis?

I think that the time to act on this would be late summer/early fall 2010 or 2011.  At that time look to go long in companies producing "plastic electronics" (the technology which will take papers place) and hit a multi-bagger as well as shorting paper mills who will be facing serious reductions in demand.
