awallejr,

Good question. It is kind of open isn't it? Really it is about moral courage. Peter Schiff and Dr Ron Paul have been proven right. They have been mocked and laughed at by morons and cheerleaders in the media. But in the end, the truth and reality catch up.

Peter Schiff was telling the truth, not cheerleading to become famous or get airtime or fame. He was mocked for years. Now he looks like a genius and his business is booming. He is openning  new offices and he is on TV almost everyday.

The lesson?

1. Tell the truth

2. Wealth is built from savings and entrepeniurship. NOT BORROWING and consumption.

3. Reality can take some time to catch up.

4. Investing sucessfully requires you to be ahead.

5. Most people on TV are not worth listening to. Many are paid liars.

Here is Faux News Mocking Ron Paul

Reality is most decidedly catching up.  The only thing against Schiff is perhaps not seeing that foreign stocks would tank right along with the US...they may "decouple" eventually but I don't think he believed it would happen quite this way.  A lot of foreign economies seemed to have big bubbles as well.

Bet Laffer wishes he could go back in time and talk some sense into himself.

I love the Schiff vs. Laffer video from 2 years ago.  Schiff nailed it.  I'd love to see Laffer try to defend his prior position now.  I'm so disgusted by the idiotic goldilocks bulls, including Laffer, Kudlow, Dennis Kneale, and Cramer.  I sure would love to see just one of them say, "I was wrong," but you know that won't happen.  And yet, America continues to listen to and trust all the people who have been wrong all along but block out the people who have been right all along.  "Doc, you amputated the wrong leg!  Now my arm needs to be amputated.  I'd like you to be the one to do it."

The past couple weeks have proved to me how biased the media are.  All the media have been mobilized to get the American people to support the bailout and have ignored all the people who actually get it like Schiff, Paul, Denninger, Faber, Roubini.  Online polls have were thwarted.  I'm sure many people were already distrustful of the media -- I guess I was just being naive.

Why was Schiff the only one who didn't seem like he was on an artificial stimulant?

I will admit to having (finally) discovered why so many people like Ron Paul.
