For a few fleeting, horrifying moments this past week the fault lines that underlie the global economic crisis erupted into plain view. With deft and quick effort leaders in Washington, Europe and Asia papered over the fissures and fears largely subsided. But the shock of plain truths which resulted in violent currency movements are the latest reminder that the 21st century economic order will bear little resemblance to the world we now know.

that amerika german song was awesome!  and it raises a hell of a point.  the one thing we have, americans, that no other country will ever even dream of beginning to duplicate is an emminently dominant culture.  Any country exposed to our way of life, blue jeans and pretty girls and get rich quick schemes and cheeseburgers and soda and drinks and fashion and style (don't kid yourself, italy makes stylish clothes and cars, and I like those, but without us to render them approved as stylish they'd be up a crick w/o a paddle).  Our culture is our greatest asset, I hope we profit from it for centuries to come.

And before any of you panic and scream (someone please delete this post, its not chicken little panic material, so it should be deleted.  Any good CAPs post knows the sky is falling).  At times sarcasm is appropriate, folks.

Before you panic and scream, please understand the checklist story.  I went to college with 2, literally 2, pieces of clothing that weren't hand me downs.  Today I'm wearing italian.  Where else, in thish world, can that happen to a farm kid from nowhere?  We still have the greatest culture most capable of unleashing the talents of its citizens.  Still.

Can obama (who you chicken little sky is falling pessimists probably voted for) destroy that with welfare-a-plenty and socialistm for all?  I doubt it.  Can he slow it down for a while?  probably.

Lets hope for something better in the next election.  The last 3 elections haven't exactly served us well.

Folks, this is my point:

Its friday, my girlfriend dumped me last week for yet another night of excessive wall street celebrations, i got forciblly evacuated from my house earlier due to a perfect weather storm, i'm surfing the web after numerous drinks at 2AM for no reason other than my limitless infatuation with the stock market.  I'm just a guy, i'm not that great or anything, I have a horrible singing voice, i'm at times so wildly tactless that I personally feel shocked by my behavior for weeks after.  I spend a fair amount of time hoping I'm a decent parent when all is said and done.  I'm hardly Warren Buffet or anything.

But you know what?  I grew up with nothing, and I grew up to have no remaining worries.  And I'm getting paid on the markets, and I'm going to get paid more, on these markets, come hell or high water.

Alot of bad things can happen, but the sky in the US will never fall, because for every crybaby whining crowd following sheep that runs around doing what they are told there will always be one of me.  A kid with nothing, no particular talent, no particular good looks, no particular anything except the willingness to try and believe that success can be had.  And we'll never be beaten down, never.  We found ways to kiss pretty girls in college despite bad acne and epic lack of good looks.  We found ways to make money despite lack of education and experience.  We just dropped the plow and bowled through lifes challenges, we soaked up the pain and we persevered and we fought and punched and bled our way to the light at the end of the tunnel.

Any farm kids in China rich today?  Driving Porsches?  There are in the USA.  So my bets on us, on americans, despite obama, my bet is always on us, it'll always be on us, EVEN WITH obama, who you shortsighted people may have voted for.  Folks obama told us he was a socialist, that was his campaign platform, so some of you voted for him (i sure didnt), why are you now upset that he's acting like jimmy carter with a chip on his shoulder?  What the crap did you expect him to do after he campaigned about raising taxes on rich, rasing welfare, promoting unions, giving more welfare in the form of health benefits, raising the budget, giving welfare ...

Act intelligently?  folks, you have to give Obama one thing, he clearly broadcasted what he was all about up front.

The only thing he lied about was change.  He's making bushes mistakes on a far, far greater scale.

And i'm gonna make money.  And kiss a pretty girl.  And come out stronger.  Because probably very few of you have ever really been downa nd out, but I have. And I know what America allows, it allows you to thrive, trust me, it does.

Please, please, my fine fellow fools, delete this post.  It isn't hopeless, it isn't desperate, it isn't screaming for the world to end.

What kind of idiot would be optimistic todya?

One that I promise will get paid over the next 2-5 years.  My goal was double my money in 2-5 years.  I'm 3 months in and half way there.  Maybe I should up my expectations...

Obama cannot beat me.  He cannot win, I am by far better at living.  If he makes it illegal to profit, I'll profit by not profiting.  I am American, I believe in success and hope and i accept that to succeed requires many things.  Luck, sometimes, hope always, dreams always, perseverance usually, willingness to bleed often, and the greatest trait that americans ever possess, the willingness to believe that I can win.  Why not me?

Screw CAPs, delete my portfolio, it hardly reflects my real portfolio anyway.  I'm 97 or something like that, but if i could do what I do in real life i'd be 99 or something.

I can't stand the negativity, I can't stand the pointless whining.  I can't stand the crap.  Find a way to win.  If I can find a way to be up 40+ % with the marekt down 15% from where I started surely you shorts are up much much more.  I'VE NEVER BEEN ANYTHING BUT LONG.

My god this forum/blog needs to focus on the positive.  My god it needs to quit whining.

delete this post too.  smart people, after all, know that smart people only whine and complain, they don't amke money or do anyting productive.  just whine.
