Possibly the Dumbest Stock Commentary You'll Ever Read...

... this week, at least.
Amazing. And from an "editor"
How can Sears be worth more than $30 a share? Target closed Monday at only $29.54, and JC Penney closed at $16.55. At the other end of the retail spectrum, investors are only about $6 for Macy's, and at the low end, Family Dollar Stores closed Monday at $26. Wal-Mart is one of the few higher-valued competitors, with its shares above $50.
So I have to ask: Who thinks Sears is better than Target or even JC Penney for that matter?
The outrageous spread between Sears' share price and better-positioned retailers may be due for a correction...
The article is 90% ticker-wh0ring, as I call it, trying to get clicks from news feeds. That's part of the biz, but usually, even ticker-sk4nk articles have something to say. This one? The idea that a share's value can be directly measured by comparing it to prices paid for other shares, I mean, the lowliest intern I can imagine wouldn't make that error. I don't know if my Golden Retriever would make that mistake.
