I have real money riding on this one.  Earnings report is today after market close.  Stock is up in anticipation of a good report.  Hope they don't disappoint!

i dont hold during earnings so I took profits.

Looks flat to a little to the downside after earnings....but with all oils stocks going up endlessly...the earnings might just get shrugged off.

I sold my shares and got out.  I think that eventually the stock will go up but I was hoping for a short-term pop and I don't see that happening.  The earnings report was a bit disappointing:

"For the fourth quarter 2010, Gasco reported a net loss of $2.8 million, or $0.03 per share, as compared to net income of $0.443 million, or $0.00 per share, for the same period in 2009.  Included in the fourth quarter 2010 results are derivative losses of $0.052 million attributed to hedge effect, of which a loss of $0.746 million is unrealized and a gain of $0.694 million is realized."

My other energy stock that is taking off is Lucas Energy (LEI).  That one is up more than 100% in the past week!
