Preserving Domestic And Import Automobiles On The Roads

October 23, 2016 – Comments (0) | RELATED TICKERS: F , FCAU , GM

I've watched the 2001 film Training Day plenty of times and have recently paid attention to the Training Day Scene - 1979 Monte Carlo Lowrider. I'm not an expert in classifying automotive vehicles as antique, classic, or vintage. I do know it's much more complex and reading When Will My Car Be Considered a Classic? may just scratch the surface.

I used to believe that the vehicle must be + 25 years old, manufacturer specifications, and must be all OEM factory parts. But I learned that the rules aren't etched on rocks and evolves due to infinite automobile enthusiast organizations opinions.

Recently I was thinking some old cars can never be fully restored to its former glory and we would lose alot of old cars if it weren't for custom, hotrodders, lowriders, and etc keeping those cars functioning at a different state. So kudos to the enthusiast who have a passion to be creative and occasionally get verbally attacked as butchers and hackers creating hodgepodge junk.
