Random, or somewhat not random musings...

March 08, 2014 – Comments (5) | RELATED TICKERS: SKUL , AMZZ

I took a break for a few months and came back to do some trading, but occasionally sniff out a long.

Sometimes lately CAPS doesn't keep my pitch replies and blog replies, so I've pretty much given up.

But I needed somewhere to send out a few personal messages.

1. I don't see DragonLZ doing anything fresh, besides a few comments.  I think he's repairing his submarine.  So I'll do it her.  Happy Birthday to your daughter Julia today, March 8th.  Now that she is six how is her helping you with with investing.  I figured out your 3/10 tactic.  You gave Julia 10 blocks with letters and had her pick up three of them randomly.  If they made a ticker symbol you upthumbed it.   Now that she is six she is probably trying to make real words. Now there are some nice tickers that make words, but the pools is more limited.  All the best.

2.   portefeuille  and zzlangerhans=zzporte

Good job guys.  I really appreciate your efforts. I would like to say, however, that I called this collaborative almost three years ago, you waited long enough to take my brilliant advice.

DragonLZ once said that if Portefeuille was a stock he would buy some. I’d be very interested in a biopharm portfolio ran by Port and zzlangerhans.  As long as it didn’t become Shakespeare’s Folly’s.

General Musings.

I wrote quite a few pitches lately to keep my notes together.

The wife is after me to get ready for my sons wedding, or as I refer to it weeding.  As usual there are lots of great downthumb candidates out there. Some of Fooldom is doing a good job finding the dredges, but as usual, there are people really investing in them.  If you're looking at OTC stocks, please read the SEC 10-Q. If you don't know what a 10-Q is, don't invest in it.  Even if it's a new way to extract Hydrogen.

All the best.

TSIF   The SKY is not Falling today...it might tomorrow, but not today.

Thank you very much, TSIF. You very pleasantly surprised me. I really appreciate it. I'm also very impressed you knew Julia turned six yesterday.

Best wishes and happy birthday to you, too. I never figured out which day exactly is your birthday, but I know it's very close to Julia's.

Congratulations to you and your wife on your son's wedding as well. Wish him and his bride all the best in their life together.

Thanks again and have a good one. Glad to hear from you again. It's been a while. As you can see, I also stop by less and less often. Still, hope to "see" you soon again.

Good luck.

Thanks for the ZZporte Update. You are going to force me to twitter... :)

DragonLZ, Julia is one day older than me on the calendar and getting to be much older than me in mental age.  :)

My son is the second of three kids, two are now married and the third has a great long term relationship, just waiting on college to finally end.

I'm now minus one food bill, (the largest), and up a daughter.  A win-win!  Despite the mud on the warmest day of the winter, it was an excellent day.

Thanks!

TSIF, three kids, two of them already married, one finishing college,... no matter what happens to your other investments, you are already a very successful man. Congratulations. It's a big job being a parent, especially being good at it.

Once again, Happy Birthday.
