Recession proof, evil, and loving it

I am looking for companies whose ruthless tactics and disregard for safety gives them an clear advantage, and I am going to make it worth your while. My first one is so evil that they should be just about recession proof, and they are also immune to litigation. Any company tied to the right wing in this country and to the war on terror has a get out jail free card. The company is:

LLY - Eli Lilly & Co.

This is a long term pick; a huge company that should not take on much water during a recession, should grow with the world population, and let me explain why. These guys manufacture vaccines that keep awful diseases at bay. Hey, that is great, and with population growth in full swing here in the states because the border is so porous, you have a definite need for more vaccines. And these guys have plenty of business outside of the U.S. too. But now onto why their thirst for wealth has put people at risk, and how the government is helping them out, which makes them a very safe pick even if the world market implodes.

There is a relatively small segment of the world population that probably should not be getting some of their vaccines so close to infancy. This group of people has been identified by doctors like Dr. Deth and Kenneth Bock, where the immune system is underdeveloped at birth, and here we are injecting them with a live measles vaccine, among other things. There is serious evidence that some of these people end up with developmental delays, autism and the like, and the media black out we are now experiencing in the U.S. makes it impossible to get this type of information from mass media like television. If you want to read more about it, there are a few well respected books I can point you to, but let me stop here on this subject and just point out that there is a very simple immune system test that could be given to infants to see if they are at risk. If they were, you could simply delay the shots until they were a bit older and healthier.

Add to this total disregard for a patient's well being the fact that the preservative that is being used in their flu shots, and was once contained in all their vaccines, is very dangerous. Thimerasol is 50% mercury, a deadly neurotoxin, and experts agreed as far back as back as the 1950's that it was ineffective as a preservative, and so it should have been replaced. Even the guy who invented thimerasol realized they might be harming people and eventually requested it be removed. But Eli Lilly owns the patent, and get a royalty on each shot administered, so they kept it in for decades until enraged parents demanded they take it out. But again, the media blackout has allowed them to add it back to the flu vaccines without informing the masses, so unless you ask for a shot without the mercury, you are getting injected with shots that have been found to contain doses that exceed the FDA limit by 85 times. Imagine what that would do to your nervous system. But Eli wants that extra money, so the thimerasol stays in and the news media looks the other way.

Now some parents were recently preparing to sue LLY, accusing their vaccines of causing autism, and there are a number of studies that support this. LLY funded their own studies to refute the findings, but the tests were severely flawed, and again, the media skipped that bit and failed to point out who sponsored the new studies. Then our president put a law into effect that protected Eli Lilly from prosecution for their vaccines, citing the fact that the company could be financially damaged and then unable to supply vaccines in the event of a bio-terror attack. Silly, because none of the vaccines for SARS or bio-terror will ever be manufactured in the U.S., because companies are afraid of litigation, so they make their vaccines in Europe. We'll be low on the list industrialized nations to receive the vaccines to stop things like a killer avian flu.
 
But I digress. The point is that when you have the Bush gunning for you, the media hiding the thousands of unnecessary infant deaths and injury each year caused by vaccines, and when the CDC's executive board has at least two people with patents to vaccines and ties to LLY, what you then have, besides corruption, is a bullet proof stock!
