Relentless Pursuit of #1

January 28, 2010 – Comments (13)

In my relentless pursuit of the #1 position in CAPS, I have finally broken the top 100.  Sadly, I am not pursuing the #1 position for altruistic reasons, but instead I hope to use the bully pulpit to tell people how wonderful the Seattle Seahawks are.  If I acheive the #1 postiion, I will give detailed biography's of all the Seahawks, inlcluding the water boys and medical staff.  I will blog so often and in such length, that reading my blogs will take longer than you are awake.  You will lose your jobs, and seek help from the only person you really know - ME!

Some say its foolish to detail your plan for world domination but I say those who say that have never dominated the world!  Caveat Emptor!

As a fellow Seattleite, I endorse this endeavor. Could we get some Husky love too? Maybe some annoying Jake Locker pitches mid-next football season?

I would much prefer your Seahawks to the guy who thinks being #1 gives him the authority to lecture us on scripture.

I'd like to make an even better approach.  Bet against the spread on all the seahawk's games next year.  The windfall would surely allow you to place ads in every market news publication in the country and still have some left over for a run of ads on MSNBC.  Wait...  Never mind...  Carry on. :p

Great Job!

I've been hovering at around 200 for about a year now.

Too bad that I'm too far behind to be in the running. I would like to put passages from Ecclesiastes written by Solomon who was the richest man of his time. If inflation were figured in, I wonder who would be richer Solomon or Warren Buffet?

Buffet would have warrants and perpetually preferred stock on Solomon.

If you accomplish your goal, I plan on creating an account called ClayBennett. Then I'm going to climb up the charts by stealing all of your best young picks.

But that's where the plan falls through, because like everyone else who has a choice, there's no way I'm moving to Oklahoma City.

(Btw, a guy living in the freaking Middle Eastern desert would rather stay put than move to Oklahoma City.  And the NBA thought it would be a good idea to put a team there.  Just sayin'.)

FreeMarkets,

As a Seattleite and football fanatic, I just might beat you to that top fool post. Then again, I also must pay homage to my Detroit Lions..yes us Lions fans without bags over our heads really do exist!

On a side note, TMFRhino, since you live out here as well, do you want to get a couple of large rocks and throw them at Blue Nile's headquarters?

My brother left L.A. for Seattle over 20 years ago and still hasn't returned. I know he's still alive, as he sent me a photo of himself on top of Mt. Rainier.

It's too bad us Packer fans are drunk so often or one of us would mount a challenge.

Ultralong,

I should note, I'm more a Seattleite in spirit. Had to move to DC to work at the Fool.

Is there any particular reason for the rocks at Blue Nile? Don't like the company or just want to smash out some windows to get to the precious jewelery booty inside?

I'm still plotting a way to get inside Amazon's headquarters, it's perch on Beacon Hill is just too creepy looking not to have some old haunted rooms from its days as a hospital. I know Bezos is hiding something good in there...
