Researching every stock in existence...
Yes, I'm still at it. After the article that posted today, I've only got 12,623 companies left to go.
A quick run-down of the companies covered:
- Locateplus -- a provider of personal information for law enforcement, PIs, and businesses. "Blech" is my reaction to the company's financials. Nothing doing here.
- China VoIP and Digital Telecom -- China and VoIP eh? Well I wasn't exactly enthralled. The company focuses on VoIP for businesses, but it also dabbles in other areas like virtualization. Would like to see the company solidify its approach. Plus financials are stink-o.
- Nufarm -- Australian agro company, mostly making herbicides and pesticides. Recent struggles made this one jump out at me as interesting. Not sure the business is a long-term homerun, but seems like a solid business and the valuation could provide good returns.
- Caterpillar -- How much do I need to say here? The company's got brand, scale, global presence. Good company overall and worth owning. I'm just not so sure whether it's worth diving in at today's prices.
