Results from my buy call on WNR, MWA, and WFR

September 23, 2009 – Comments (3) | RELATED TICKERS: SUNE , WNR , MWA

On August 19 09 i made a buy call. Here is the post.

Anyfool who followed my call would have made

10% on WFR.

25% on MWA.

20% on WNR.

.     . . .  in one month.

Now the truth is, i am not an analyst worth putting a lot of faith in. So if you happened to use my info as a small part of your decision, PLEASE recheck your DUE DILIGENCE. I believe in all of those stocks, but now that they have had their little chart bounce, i am not really the one to follow.

WNR was a good call! I watched it, waited and almost bought it on 9/10 @ under $6 but decided to buy something else instead :-(

I don't think my other buy is bad but it will take longer for it to go up.

Thanks for the great calls Solaris. I will pay closer attention next time ;-)

I know nothing about WNR that is not on CAPS, but there was a small discussion on the original post i made..

I will say, that if you go to WNR, and look at the scorecard, by rating (top rating), you will see a lot of names you recognize.

The PE (if it can be trusted) is very low, and they have a dividend (if it can be trusted. AND they are diversified a little with the asphalt business.

If they don't go BK all gas and oil companies will make money in the 'long term'. How long is a question.

Go look at the 'Ratios' tab on the CAPS WNR page. They are below P/B and their price to sales is about .09 (if it can be trusted). Other ratios look good also. Possible buyout candidate.
