Retiring from CAPS blogging

Hey folks,

For the 5 or 6 of you who care, there won't be much activity on my CAPS page for a while. I am itching to buy too many stocks and discussing things here puts me into long compliance blackouts that are really putting a crimp in my future net worth.

There are similar issues with caps picks, so I may just close up shop on those as well.

Good hunting in the real world. Now is the time to get vewy, vewy greedy, I think.

Why would you stop now - in these historic times? If you are worried, just don't mention symbols. You may want to have your thoughts posted for future reference later. Also, your posts are great.

I hope the net-worth project goes equally excellently. (And I'm buying too.)

will miss your blog posts... I agree its time over the next year to really focus on investments and not on entertaining others......  I'm not sure how long this downturn lasts (from a stock picking not economy standpoint), but there are unbelievably sick deals out there and a lot are going to get better

Seth,

Surely this moratorium doesn't apply to the OSTK sideshow.  Good luck, brother.

Good luck in making good picks, comrade Seth :-) I for one stopped selecting individual stocks and instead bought a few ETFs this past week (energy, Russia, Brazil, small-caps etc). Everything is so depressed out there that there is no point in taking risks (any one company can make mistakes). Eastern Europe got down almost to 0, in every exchange, in all stock issues.
