Ok, ok. I'm still trying to figure out what Romney/Ryan have to offer that Obama's not already bringing to the table. Oh right, they hate gays and want to stop abortion. Sounds solid. Expect big gov't, big deficits, a weakening economy, low interest rates, more civil liberty killing bills and more war no matter who gets voted in.

The system is running our leaders, not the other way around.

I call that following, not leading.  The tail wagging the dog.  I could go on for days.

And even if you're not into politics, and want to ignore it... if you think 2008 was bad, you ain't seen nuttn' yet.  That was a taste for what's to come.

drgroup - please explain?

I think both candidates have identical stances on pretty much all the major issues. What is it I'm missing?

Tax rate. Energy development. Obamacare. Regulations.  Just to name a few.

My problem with Obama is he was a disappointment.  He quit being President summer of last year and has basically been campaigning for re-election ever since.

My problem with Romney is he wants to go back to the good old days that led up to this mess.

The middle class used to be 61% of the population.  It now is 51% and it didn't change because they moved up the ladder, but got pushed down.

I'm looking at it from a budget perspective, and Obama and Romney's budgets are virtually identical in size, the deficits are the same, the people benefiting are the only change.

Romney practically authored Obamacare.  I don't get it.

Our deficits and debt have more to do with the level of spending rather than tax rates.  Tinking with a percentage here and there is not going to even touch our deficit and debt problem.

Energy development, fine.  I get that.

I am focused on the exponential debt growth.  Our debt is growing 5x faster than the economy.  This is a disaster.  And Romney's budgets are not going to change this.  Tinkering with tax rates will do nothing to touch this problem.
