This isn't a new video or development, but Ron Paul's World Bank assessment hits it right on the head. This institution funds worldwide corporatism through governments at the expense of the poor. People need to understand that poverty comes due to a lack of freedom and property rights, and you can more easily grasp this when you see the damage caused by organizations like the World Bank.

tomlongrpv,

You still haven't answered my questions from this post.  Are insults all that you have left?  I thought you said you were a lawyer.  Did you lie to us?  Are you really a lawyer?

David in Qatar.  You are not any good at research are you?  You would not be asking the questions you are asking if you were.

tomlongrpv,

I thought you said the problem was that it was too hot in Doha for me to understand you.

Well, let's see.  I posted research that listed the Fed's existing regulations of the banking system, which includes every financial instrument that was employed during the boom.  I can also point to the S.E.C.'s current regulations, which in 2008 was over 4,000 pages long.  Buy it here!

You're a clown and a fraud.

I spend my days thinking how nice the small business owners are that I deal with, how much better this country would be without a massive IRS threatening people...how the only times I feel hopeless and cornered is due to crazy government rules & regulations...yet this statement has totally changed my mind...you are right....these awful people trying to feed their families by making a profit in their businesses...man, they must be pure evil.

Now, if you are talking about big banks or autos or pharma or military industrial complex...I think you will find David & most people here are actually very opposed to fascism (you should look this up) and crony capitalism.

It is ok to to search for truth and even to be ignorant...but you have your views wildly messed up when you think free markets are evil or the problem...and governments are the solution...you clearly know zero history.  Also, while I don't agree with all of Ron Paul's views...he is one of the very very few honest politicians, maybe you should actually listen to what he is saying.

I am trying to figure out what it is you think the world needs?  Should we search for another Hitler or Mussolini who "have all the answers"?
