Vestas just released Q2 earnings report, and have somehow managed to turn in a profit. This company has been facing tough prospects with strong competition, European super-crisis, and American cutting of wind subsidies.

The temperatures where I am living are downright spooky. I finally moved back to the Midwest in January after living in the South for about 7 years. I expected a difficult adjustment period to a long and cold winter.

Afectair is a system of aerosolized drug delivery. It got approved for marketing for use within the US this last week, and DSCO stock has risen about 20% since the approval.

At first, I was thinking that it wasn't that much of a deal as this is not their major drug, but just a medical device. But, if the predicted revenue from the device is correct it is a very helpful thing for DSCO. DSCO co...

Looks like the markets are going to keep going higher, as unemployment falls finally to the lower 8.3% range. Job growth is robust.

Construction companies have been showing good results and future estimates of better results (CAT, MTW, TEX). S&P could reach the higher 1400's this year.

3-months in investing is like a blink of the eye. Most trends take years to complete. Most turn-arounds happen over the course of a year.
So, why on CAPS, do we get treated as if every day is important and a 3-month score history is all the story about a player that is needed? It is totally crazy!
There are probably around ~75000 player accounts. ...

As many CAPS bloggers are aware, earlier this year the Economic Cycle Research Institute made the bold claim that "a new recession is unavoidable". This statement was made by the cofounder of ECRI:

Rick Perry is an embarrassment to the Republican party.
