Yongye Conference Call

Just got off of Yongye's conference call, which reported full year 2011 results and issued 2012 guidance. Here are some of the high-level key take-aways:

- Rev estimate of $500MM in '12 is up 30% from the $390MM in '11

- Adjusted NI of $115MM in '12 is up 50% from the $90MM in '11 (adjusted for non-controlling interests - i.e. exec comp and warrant fair value)

I received this streaming quote from my broker yesterday, and wanted to pass it along to the Foolish community to get your thoughts. Has anyone else heard anything about a potential UA takeover bid? Or, is this just a media stunt to attract eyeballs?

Let's be clear: If YONG is fooling (lower case 'f') us as investors, they must also be fooling KPMG as their auditor. It gives me a lot of faith in this company when a big-four auditor, where reputation is everything, signs off on their internal reporting standards.

I finally went ahead and unloaded my Netflix (NFLX) shares this morning at $227. I do still think there is additional upside even at today's prices, but I got in fairly early on this train ride and decided to take the profits while I could.
