September 2011 Pocket Change Portfolio Performance Update

The Pocket Change Portfolio (PCP) was first introduced on September 13, 2008 as a real money dividend income portfolio funded by the "pocket change" earned from my various online endeavors. Each month I report on the portfolio's progress and update its holdings.

Dividends ReceivedTotal dividends received during the month were $542.76, consisting of:

Securities Sold/PurchasedDuring the month I liquidated my position in Harleysville Group Inc. (HGIC). The following securities were purchased during the month:

- 70 Shares AFLAC Inc. (AFL) providing $84.00 in annual dividend income
- 36 Shares ConocoPhillips (COP) providing $95.04 in annual dividend income
- 78 Shares Illinois Tool Works Inc. (ITW) providing $112.32 in annual dividend income
- 64 Shares Genuine Parts Company (GPC) providing $115.20 in annual dividend income
- 122 Shares National Retail Properties, Inc. (NNN) providing $187.88 in annual dividend income

Annualized Dividend IncomeIncluding the above transactions, my annual PCP dividend income is now $5,556.42 at the current dividend rates. This is up $393.97 from last month's $5,162.45 amount. The PCP has never experienced a monthly decline in annualized dividend income.
