Seriously....How Stupid Are The Sheep?

July 20, 2010 – Comments (6)

They said nothing as Wall Street outsourced their jobs.....

They sat happy as loss of income was replaced by Wall Street increasing debt.....

All was fine when property taxes exploded due to Wall Street loaning money to millions who couldn't pay it back......

They cheered as Wall Street cut them off of credit putting the final nail in the coffin of our economy....

AND after much collapsed, THEY LET GOVERNMENT BAIL OUT WALL STREET BUT NOT MAINSTREET?  What idiot would let that happen and say nothing.....?

Now Wall Street has most of its assets overseas......our Rust Belt is in disrepair....the Gulf States are shutting students can't find jobs........commercial real estate is essentially worthless or rapidly heading in that direction......our pension funds are insolvent.....our cities, counties, and states are in financial crisis.....and the tax receipts we generate are not even half the amount currently being spent by Washington.....

The funny part is sheep are still dreaming about retirement in a nation that can't even produce enough to support its its politicians are desperately trying to liquidate worthless real estate just so they can get a paycheck........

Orange County NC Struggles to Sell Buildings

It is just what happens when everything in America was driven by Wall Street increasing debt......and Wall Street cuts off credit......everything collapses in the end....just ask Madoff's clients......they understand the concept well.

It is sorta strange if you think about it.....on a nation built upon production

The key high paying jobs left in America are Financial Services, Health Care, and Government........

You wonder who is going to generate the income to support the debt pushers, care givers, and moochers who get paid even though they don't generate sufficient income to pay themselves?

The sheep are not stupid, they are just in a hypnotised state.

Even though this very ancient allegory was cited in TomatoFlu's first post, it is worth quoting it again.

The tendency of the masses to become increasingly subjective, and believe any old story, is a symptom of that state which especially arises during times when there is a lot of reciprocal destruction occuring.

Naturally fools are impervious to such a legion of subjective states, with respect.

Here is the Allegory:

"There is an Eastern tale which speaks about a very rich magician who had a great many sheep. But at the same time this magician was very mean. He did not want to hire shepherds, nor did he want to erect a fence about the pasture where his sheep were grazing. The sheep consequently often wandered into the forest, fell into ravines, and so on, and above all they ran away, for they knew that the magician wanted their flesh and skins and this they did not like.

"At last the magician found a remedy. He hypnotized his sheep and suggested to them first of all that they were immortal and that no harm was being done to them when they were skinned, that, on the contrary, it would be very good for them and even pleasant; secondly he suggested that the magician was a good master who loved his flock so much that he was ready to do anything in the world for them; and in the third place he suggested to them that if anything at all were going to happen to them it was not going to happen just then, at any rate not that day, and therefore they had no need to think about it.

Further the magician suggested to his sheep that they were not sheep at all; to some of them he suggested that they were lions, to others that they were eagles, to others that they were men, and to others that they were magicians.

"And after this all his cares and worries about the sheep came to an end. They never ran away again but quietly awaited the time when the magician would require their flesh and skins. "This tale is a very good illustration of man's position.

In my case, before mutating into TomatoFlu, the holy grail was to find out how money is created.

Fractional Reserve Banking....took me more than year to finally get it!!

I was stumped for ages.

"On the pretext that sheep are not so stupid, only enmass, perhaps it this 'how money is created' information they need to fully awaken to our current financial/ecological/etc armagedon"?

You cannot blame the sheep for being in a stunned subjective state and imobilised from having too much 'wrong information', that would be remedied by having even just a little of the, 'right information'.

Having the right information, is like an essential gastric acid, the digestive process ceases without it.

I categorically assert the Psychology of sheep is to be hypnotised, and not dream.

Maybe cats dream.

But not sheep.
