This market is really giving me some big stomach pains. In a crazy move that I know will haunt me , I sold it all. after I could not take the pain anymore.

Everyone has to play it the way they see it. I have about 1000 shares purchased at around $1.10. And about 500 bought on the dip to .79 a month or so ago. And I will buy another 500 today on this dip. I'm just a small time investor. But being either foolish or just dumb...I'm going to believe in this company. THough there may still be downside with possible layoffs looming? But either it all goes to hell or we make it out of this. As in all things...Time will tell.

Emotion is the enemy, my brother! Please read this when you feel so, I hope it will help. I was there and I know how it feels. My heart goes for you!

For now just read this:

F. If you get hit after a poor decision, which result in a loss of capital, you will be zapped of your confidence but It ain't about how hard you get hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Take a deep breath, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again. Dark days happen to the best of us, the more enjoyable your journey will be as you find your way to better tomorrows.

Only good news I heard today was that the BRIC nations are rallying so far in 2009 and I have a large portion emerging markets.

IBD, I know exactly how you feel. I get so freaking frustrated watching my investments made over the course of years shrink by the day that sometimes I just want to dump my entire portfolio too, losses be damned. However, I haven't gotten to the point yet where I'm able to do that, and I kind of doubt I ever will. I hope I never will anyway....

And GoodVibe, your name is appropriate. I really appreciate your positive attitude and I think you totally rock!

No one KNOWS - and no one can predict.  More information letters I buy, , the more confused I get.  Lose on all GOOD advice and thought I was buying LOW only to have everything go even lower.  Wish I was smart enough or foolish enough to use Options - but also have heard that that is a great way to LOSE lots of money!

So I guess you are ready to take back all the nonsene you pushed in the last few days? You need to get your emotions under control bro or you will continue to have days like this. Many people have been warning you and you chose to ignore the free advice.

That it is.  I couldnt sell all if I wanted to.  Whats worse is the last two days two I own posted surprise beats and still dropped.  This is a crazy ass market.  Cant wait for this roller coaster to stop.

19414hqueen - As far as options go, check out the OCC website.  Basic puts are a great way to "insure" you against the downside and covered calls are also good to make some short-term income on stocks you own.  Very simple and easy to use, I highly suggest you check out and learn about them.
