Or should every American get a check for $1,000,000 dollars.

If you think about it, running a $2 trillion dollar deficit against a declining tax receipts and a slowing economy....government really does not generate the money from taxes to pay its employees.  If government can simply borrow money it can't afford to pay its employees, why not borrow money and hand it out to every employee....or every citizen for that matter.

While we are at it, why not give every citizen $1,000,000 and tax it at 50% and pay off the national debt....and every state and local debt while we are at it?

Has the world gone crazy?....nobody seems to want to deal with the issue of our national deficit or the fact that the money government is spending onretireees,  paying its workers and health care really doesn't exist nor will it ever be likely to be paid back as the hole gets deeper and deeper.

What is money when only a few can borrow and income is not a determining factor?.....Just printed paper?

Pay off the debt while ignoring the new debt needed to give out the million each in the first place.

You clearly have a firm grasp of government math, CBO scoring and gov't economics! 

My fear is some congress critter will read your blog and convince over half of the others that it's a great idea.  Worse, they might figure if one million each is good, ten million each is even better.
