Small Oil Guys Making Big Moves
Just because you aren’t one of the big dogs in the oil business, doesn’t mean you can’t make big moves. The oil industry has been making moves across the board, but there three small oil companies making some great bullish moves as well. These guys stand out and Michael Filloon explains why.
" …The first name is Samson Oil and Gas (SSN). It started the week at $2.79/share. It hit a low of $2.70 on May 31st and has been heading upward ever since. By the end of the trading week, Samson was trading at $3.30/share. This closing price was four cents above the 50 day moving average. This change in momentum would not have been so strange if not for the large pullback from its 52-week high of $4.75. Since this high, there has been very little if any information about its Niobrara leasehold. Its Bakken acreage has been progressing as planned, although there had been some difficulties in time frames with respect to well completion. These difficulties had been seen by other companies in the area, and are not exclusive to Samson…"
