I used to like Glen Beck, but he has become a bit of a nutjob since he joined FOX News. Speaking of FOX, our Tea Party in Sacramento will be covered live on Neil Cavuto's show.

Based on stock market loses, job loses and the increased savings rate it is likely that revenue collected by the government will fall a lot this year.  If that happens and the government tries to raise the tax rates while redefining "the rich" to a larger segment of the population, then real anger toward the government will develop.  Very productive people will find that it is in their best interest to cut back on work and spend less, if they have that option.  This will further decrease tax revenue and at some point social and political instability will result in real change, which was what we were promised.

Motley, I watched glenn the entire time he was on CNN. I have to disagree with you about how he is now on FOX. The format is a little different, but Glenn is still exactly as he was on CNN. Perhaps just a little more focused on his views.

He probably is a little more overt with his opinions and emotion, as Ted Turner is no longer in charge of his paycheck.

How convinient for republicans that democrats are now in power, so that they  can blame everything on the. But who ran up the deficit, who looked the other way while various bubbles kept inflating, who started the needles war in Iraq while the rest of the world was warning of the consequences. I don't care for politicians in general, democrats or republicans. But this tea party stuff is silly. Americans  (or you could say politicians on your behalf, who are elected  by you) spent the money and now it is the time to repay it, through taxes whether you like it or not. If you don't want to pay, don't spend it in first place.

Arguing left and right?  Might as well argue about the toothfairy.  Soon it will be apparent that we have all been slapped around by both the left and right wings of a big black bat.  Neither wing operate independently.
