So what's the story with AAUK?

Not certain, but the best I have heard is that AAUK, Anglo American decided to delist itself and join the ranks of OTC or pink sheet stocks.  Not sure why, but apparently, they feel it is a good idea.  What I do not know is how the change is going to play out here on TMF.  I have not noticed a change in the symbol on my pick, but have noticed that it stopped updating when the change on the market listing took place (it was effective at the close of the market on Friday, 31 July).

Aside from that, it looks like their potential merger is going to prove to be an interesting dance.

NOTE:  TMF won't even allow me to place AAUKY as a related ticker.  Guess it is not in their system, yet.

I have no idea what's going on here.  I sold off my small stake this morning b/c Anglo gave no warning or explanation for what they did and I think it made me lose a lot of faith in the underlying company.  The one blog entry I found on it said that investor relations wasn't responding to inquiries.

Since AAUK is still the symbol here at TMF and it is not seeing any market movement, I can't even close my CAPS pick.  There is no closing price nor an opening price for this...it is no longer trading.  TMF needs to adjust the symbol to AAUKY to keep this stock in motion.

Thanks, Mike, for pointing this out. We'll get it taken care of.
