Solar and Wind - bid way up this morning

I've been trying to collect and share some community intelligence on this one..  here are my favorites, what are yours?

ASTI - thanks to misterpickles for the heads up..  bid down on Friday because of additional share offering.  Offerred for the right reasons, by the way..  Norsk Hydro just made additional investment.

SPIR - they make the equipment to make solar panels - need I say more?

TKR - still hasn't had a run up - ball bearings for the windmills.  They can't turn without them!  And a 1.7% dividend too!

TAN - safe way to invest in solar - who knows which ones will win?

BP - oil and solar and 4.5% dividend - sounds good to me.

What are your ideas??

I'm holding out on a big solar bet until I see nanosolar's IPO come to market. I think that could punish them all. they could be a game changer imo. Statsgeek has a very good blog on this. ANomalee had a great one a couple months ago.

If I had to own any solar it would be TAN for the reasons you said.
