GTN is ON FIRE!

After 47% jump last Friday, GTN is up another 31% today (as of 1 PM - and I don't think is done going up for the day). I'm up more than 250% in 2 weeks...

p.s.

GTN, 400 shares at $.95 (speculative, but high hopes). IMO, might be $10+ stock in 12+ months, $4- $5 short term.

p.s. Haven't you noticed I like media stocks right now. Like them a lot. I own GCI in RL (bought around $3), MNI (one of my 40%-up-the-next-day stocks, and intend to buy more as I think it's making a move to $3+, then some more), and I just recently added GTN.

I must agree with you. Emmis Communications (EMMS) over the last month has lit up too. All I know about the company is that they own quite a few of the top radio stations in Chicago.

Congrats to ya. It's always a thrill to hit upon a rocket stock. Thanks to some great advice I received here on the Fool blogs, I hit upon a rocket myself with ATPG. Great fun....

Thanks guys.

However, I guess I spoke too soon. GTN is up "only" 19% as of 3:10 PM. (Did somebody call 911 for real???)

p.s. Catoismymotor, don't worry about alexpaz. He's my friend (who has a highnumbersophobia...).

I'm sticking my neck out today on GTN (again):

I say that GTN, with today's closing price of $2.18 (only 18 cents over $2), will not see it's closing price fall below $2 within the next 3 years or more (including never).

p.s. As a bonus, I'll also say that GTN will be going through the $3 mark in 30 days or less.

Dead serious.

Well its Oct 8th, every time I see it go to 2.30-2.40, everyone sells, and it plummets.  Volume hasn't been over 1M in a while, besides Tues Oct 6 when it hit 2.43 (should have sold).  Went up 22% that day, and plummeted to only 10% up by the day's end. Then plummeted another 10% to go back to where it was.

This stock does not hold its value very well.  Even on days when the market goes up 100+ points (like today) it stagnates because volume is so low.

I'm kinda in it for the long haul because I bought shares at 2.77, so losing my shirt.  I've since offset those shares with 4000 more shares at 1.91, 2.03, and 2.06.  When it hit 2.43, I sold 600 shares at 2.35 to cash in some profits.  I just had a feeling it wouldn't hold for long.
