Sobel's announcement of his departure was announced on August 31st .

One has to wonder whether this was disclosed at this event and also one is compelled to wonder why this event was not the subject of, at least, a press release given exposure of Open Source to "Madison Avenue" was the intent of this panel.  This event does not appear, under 'Events' on SourceForge nor under Media???

What was Jon Sobel thinking? What was Ross Turk thinking (as host)?

NOTE: Geeknet has taken down the link pointing to their feature

where Jonathan Sobel was a featured speaker and promoted as SourceForge's Group President, Media. Jonathan Sobel left the Company on September 25th, eight days after said Meeting was held. Significantly this was not disclosed to the participants of this meeting and was kept on the Geeknet site through all of October putting Geeknet Management and its Board of Directors in alleged violation of, at least, Section 406 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 and SEC Rule 10b-5...at least someone is paying attention to our warnings.

[CORRECTION]

It is back up. It is still there under http://www.geek.net/nycpanel and also directly off the main Geeknet home page http://www.geek.net, as follows:

"The Triumph of Open" (right-side) > "Learn More" > "Unscrambling the Puzzle of Digital Marketing On The Modern Web"

=>Alleged continuing consistent patterns of violations of Section 406 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, SEC Rule 10b-5...
