I just wanted to take the time to thank you experienced guys for actually caring about us litte guys trying to learn.

I have been trading and investing since last January, but I only actually got serious about it about 2 months ago. Before that I just did swing trades based on common sense, never got too into investing and understanding all aspect of what I did.

In those two months I have learned a lot through posting blogs, reading pitches and reading books.

A special shout out to Griffin416, who has actually met with me in real life twice and talked to me for 3-4 hours each time just answering every question I could possibly ask, and responding to a million emails per day I send him. Thank you for putting up with my ambition! Also one of the smartest people I know, and always has an interesting approach to his trades which most others seem to miss. Almost everything important I know (besides basics) come from him.

Ultralong, you have responded with useful information whenever I needed it, and pointed me in the direction of a great book on TA, I am currently starting to read that book and so far it is great.

Bullishbabo, you gave me a great list of books to read. I have been too busy to read most of them so far, and have been looking up other stuff I want to learn before that (economic stuff, general terms, etc) and going to work and what not, but I read the contrarian book already, thanks for the help! I bought every book you told me to.

Chrisgraley, you respond to a lot of my posts, and just generally look out for the little guy. Always grateful for that.

Danielthebear, you challenge me and respond to a lot of things I say. I respect you for being another young'n on the board, and your knowledge at your age impresses me.

I am definitely missing people, but i have work in the morning and it is 3:20 here.

I agree with you, the guys you listed above are very, very knowledgeable and very, very helpful. We all can learn tons from them.

Two more guys that I'd like to add, and I don't know if you were lucky enough to have them comment on your posts, are Tastylunch and TSIF. Both very smart and always willing to help.

Fortunately, there are many more great people and great investors here on CAPS; unfortunately, we will never be able to list them all: checklist34, Jakila, anticitrade, Porte, TMFDeej, TMFSinchiruna, ...

I like to question conventional wisdom, which makes my picks very risky. Use extreme caution. My picks are supposed to be only a small percentage of one's portfolio.

Thanks for the shout out. Really, there's no substitute for reading lots and lots of material. When I started just under 2 years ago, I read everything I could find and then some. It's a lot of hard work, but I'm glad you actually purchased those books! I wasn't sure if you were listening...
