It got me to try it when I otherwise probably never would've.  It's not bad, in my opinion, although I'll likely stick with my Budweiser (and Forty Creek Barrel Select whisky).

I love the campaign, but am not fond of the beer. I am more of a New Castle or Guiness fan.

XX = great beer.

Funny story about Newcastle. I took my wife to Athens, Georgia. She never tried Newcastle until that night. Well it was when we first started to get to know each other and she probably had about five too the spirit of the party and all. To keep a long story short she was puking before we left the bar and puking at the restaurant that we went to afterwards. A true die hard:) Anyways, she was outside the girls bathroom about 2 inches from the door swaying back and forth waiting for it to open up. I went up to be a gentleman and help her out a little bit. When I walked up, she leaned over and puked in the corner. I asked her if she wanted to go outside and she immediately elbowed the living crud out of me in the ribs and made me almost puke. She is pretty tough for only 120 cookies. The next day she decided to call it "the devil beer". Her family originates from Ireland, mine from England. So she is pretty accurate for when Newcastle was Established.

I still enjoy Newcastle and Guiness, but she just sticks with the Guiness.

Either way, that guy that does the commercials for XX is pretty funny and must be a hell of a salesman if he is producing those numbers. Pretty good stuff.

I am hoping to have a couple of them this weekend....rain or shine.

That is a funny story about your experience with your wife. I used to live and work in Athens. Most of downtown smells like barf in the summer so I am sure not very people took notice. I hope you have a good weekend.
