Stunned if GOOGLE isn't $500 a share by end of this year

April 16, 2009 – Comments (7) | RELATED TICKERS: GOOGL

1)  Newspapers are going bankrupt

2) Those that survive go to the Internet and guess what?  They buy Google Ad Sense for Ad revenue.  Cha Ching!

3) How co-workers do you know bought a Google Phone?  I know several.  I almost bought one but I have to wait till my contract expires.. I'm buying a Google phone sometime THIS YEAR and so many other T-Mobile customers will do so as well as they get closer to contract expiration (typically January 2010).

4) Google Management does not consist of idiots who sit around twiddling thumbs as Ad revenue dwindles.  Those CNBC face heads moaning about Ad revenue and....Google is only an Ad revenue company are completely off the charts senile.

I don't own any shares of GOOGLE..... Cause I don't have the cash to buy such an expensive stock.  But I am telling you... $400 a share.... is an absolute BARGAIN for GOOGLE.

Cause. I easily...unquestioningly see $500 a share by Q4 2009.

So.... Hesitant on Google?  Scared of earnings release?   GOOGLE PHONE is HUGE.....Buy the Shares for the PHONE if you hate the ADs.

Ouch.  Leave retarded folks out of this.  They do not need to be compared to someone who makes poor decisions.  They did not choose to be the mentally handicapped folks that they are.  Calling him an idiot for his logic is sufficient, but given the pop that Google had up to $412 a share there must be a ton of other idiots out there.  Of course the pop was short lived as the rest of the sane folks jumped in and brought things back down.

KamranatUCLA might do well to learn from manners. Those comments are over the top. Just plain rude. I believe the post is solid. Google is a good buy at $400. However, not because of their phone. Google ads absolutely work. If you listened to what Google's CEO had to say today about monetized click-throughs (after the company blasted through earnings expectations ths afternon), you would understand that in a recession such as this, Google is the king of advertising. It's a proven business model. Google also has dozens of other products it is working on right now. Ever heard of cloud computing? Ever heard of Google apps? The list goes on. Nobody knows what will happen to Google's stock price (nor any other stock for that matter), however, is you look at the fundamentals for this stock and take a look at the balance sheet. Or how about the brand strength? I hear the word Google all day long. It's not bar behind Coca Cola, the world's leading brand. Mock this stock all you want. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the ride. I only wish I had another $10 grand to plunk down right now. Wishing you all the best in your investing thi year. RB

I don't know about $500 at the end of this year, as that seems overly optimistic given global economic circumstances, but who knows? I sure don't, but I do know that I would love to have some Google stock of my own, but that's just a little bit too rich for my blood.

Oh yeah, and the personal insults, 'idiot' 'retarded', totally uncalled for and totally out of line. If you want to refute his arguments in a factual way, go for it- but to resort to ad hominem personal attacks is just weak and lame.

Hey.. My judgement is entirely based on several factors revolving around 2 things:

1)  Death of the Newspapers

2)  The G1 phone kicks major butt... It beats anything RIMM has put out on the market by far... Street Level view is incredible... Android is the only Open Source programming available to do open source software.  Apple's IPHONE isn't open source.

It will take time.. But all the kewl applications people associate with the IPHONE are going to have separate versions available on Android.

Plus the darn phone is just 100000% times kewl....  It is amazingly fun sliding out the keyboard.... It is so darn fun!

Listen.. I hate GOOGLE just as much as anyone else.... I prefer YAHOO in terms of searching on the Internet...

But... DARTH VADER just has the better Weapons.

+1 Rec for rbraseth. The "idiots" and "stupid people" comments were over the top. The guy is just expressing his feelings about a particular stock.
