SYNM - Worse to come?

November 26, 2012 – Comments (2) | RELATED TICKERS: SYNM.DL

Greetings all,

I need some advice and/or encouragement about my shares in SYNM.  I have had stocks drop before, but never so quickly and consistently as with Syntroleum.  I believe in the strong future of this industry, but I am wondering about the viability of a company that is going to need a pretty significant reverse split.  Is this a cut and run situation, or do you guys see any hope of the kind of turnaround I was hoping for a month ago (and 30% ago).  Any advice would be appreciated, I have noticed that the CAPS rating has dropped from 3 to 2, which is not filling me with confidence.

Advice not encouragement is needed here. I try to be emotionless when investing. The particular equity you decided to pick SYNM is a pure gamble. Look at the market cap. I would suggest not to pick anything with a market cap of under 5 billion. SYNM is exactly as you are describing it. You believe in the strong future of this industry. That is a gamble. So you gambled on an equity. You can stick with it or cut your loses. It really don't matter what matters is future investments. Are you going to you invest on HOPE or some proven business. Either one is fine by me gambling is ok but don't ask for advice or encouragement. Take it for what it is a gamble. If you need advice or encouragement on gambling maybe you should stop gambling on your picks. Stick with equities with a proven track record. START BY PICKING A COMPANY THAT MAKES MONEY! SYNM has made NOTHING over the last 10 years. In fact it has lost A LOT of money.  It is a HOPE. So when the stock price rises or falls it is pretty irrelavant because if it can't make money it will most likely go to zero. You never no with a equity like this. Kinda like a biotech stock. You could make a 1000% on your money but you could also lose alot if not all your money. I am not trying to be mean or anything but just stating the truth which you pry already know.

Thank you for your honesty, probably shouldn't have used the word encouragement.  I've actually been wanting to take this comment down since the second I put it up ... still pretty new to this.
