ben says debt is ok. IS IT?    What is happening to our rights and responsibilities. How will this affect the market?   Why is Texas doing so well. FED and PAULSON (government) taking over wall street. If necessary is stated and when it happens they will take over.     All cooperations need to beware because the Government will be able to monitored and tactics can be given to rival firms for good gov. contracts in exchange for campaign contributions.Oh and I forgot this blog and the responses.  More of pres. bush breaking law again and congress passes the law.     RON PAUL TO BERNANKE: Federal Reserve is a Predatory Lender    Unoffical IOWA MARTIAL LAW         I will write more later.

We don't have enough troops in this country to make martial law stick... utter chaos is more likely.

How would you like to be a soldier in Iraq or Afghanistan when order breaks down in the U.S.? What happens with your family? How do you get home? Do you WANT to go home?

It is going to be real bad. But Cramer just said the banks can become a monopoly because of the banking mess. That is his prediction.

$20,000 a year in 1970 was very big money.  That would have been medical doctor type income back then.

I see your point on that but as a waitress in 1975 my salary and tips were 7k a year. In 1970 my mother was taking home 20k so I can only go by that. She had 15 years experience and a masters.Plus higher pay for working in a poor school. In the report Michigan ma with 20yr was 14,800 to 15,100. Plus 600 for dependency allowance,300 for a cost of living adj. + meritorious performance. 200 for men teachers,1,000 for retirement 600 for 15 years in the district so yes the average taking in the rural as well as city your figures were right, but you also have to see that they averaged out new teachers with teachers with 20+ years.
