Prosperity may have hit a dead end for now, but the company has found a back alley that leads to profitville:

Taseko Takes a Back Alley to Prosperity

http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2011/01/12/taseko-takes-a-back-alley-to-prosperity.aspx

After researching this article, I now know more about niobium and the global niobium market than I ever thought I would. Before yesterday, niobium was just that quaint mineral that padded IAMGOLD's earnings each quarter. Today, I have a form grasp on the market's fundamentals and consider taseko's discovery at Aley a significant game-changer for the miner.

I hope you enjoy my write-up, and I encourage you to recommend the article if you do. Afterward, please be sure to share your thoughts or questions in the comments section below the piece.

Your nobleman of niobium,

Sinch

Sinch, I believe TGB will turn out to be the TOP PICK for 2011 from your list. GRS may get only second place:).

Sinch,

I had a question on your December 30 post on Gammon as #1 pick for 2011:

How much insider ownership does the leadership of Gammon own (over 15 to 20% is a  good thing)?

No recent filings on insider transactions. I'll put the question to my contact at the company. However, I don't see a lot of +$1B mining companies with insider ownership at 15% or higher ... that's a high bar.
