What company offers all of the above? Not sure.

The answer is Tesco: the big box grocery located strategically by major population centres in the UK. Enjoy tea and scones at the in store eating area. The fruit scones are very good, but only if you like sultanas. After tea, enjoy browsing the shelves and noticing how the pricing doesn't make you feel like you have been the victim of a highwayman.(Don't be startled if the cashier asks you "Will that be all luv?)

As you leave, pick up a pamphlet on how you can insure your moggie for peace of mind.

As you can see, I enjoyed my shopping experiences at Tesco when I was there a couple years ago visiting in Scotland.

I'm still learning how to decipher stock fundamentals as far as when to enter a stock position or whether a stock has a great product, but less than ideal financials. I welcome your input!

Is that also the company that owns stores named Fresh and Easy in the US?

NVTreasureHunter,

Yes it is. Thanks for the info. I just googled and found an informative article about Fresh and Easy.

I guess Tesco had some cultural challenges in retailing over here. I wonder if they are doing better now with their US chain or not.

weg915, I appreciate your caution.

nottheSEC, thanks for your insight. Forward P/E of 30, Ouch! It was supposed to be a value play.

Well, I don't think that I will invest real money at this time, but I will see what this pick does to my score in CAPS :).
