This site is the best of its kind on the internet, and I'm very grateful to all who contribute fantastic stock advice and picks on a regular basis. I'm convinced that some of the finest investors in the world exist within these boards, and I appreciate all the good information that I have been able to gleem from many of you. Many of you have helped me to develop as an investor, whether you were aware of it or not. I appreciate your help, and I'd like to give back a bit. Here is my Christmas gift to you....a handful of high-upside, low-downside near term picks for your portfolio.
CHWY -- This one isn't pickable yet on CAPS, which is unfortunate. This is a rapidly growing wind turbine component manufacturer in China. It has been flying under the radar for some time now, but they have officially filed the paperwork to list on the NASDAQ. The stock has already begun to move. Currently at just above 5, my short term target is 10-11 and year-end target 13-15.
LLFH -- Another OB stock about to list, this stock is actually pickable on CAPS. It jumped a bit after the recent earnings report, which was stellar. It is a rapidly growing coal provider that is flying under the radar. I expect it to jump to 8-9 after listing and settle somewhere between 12-15 by year end.
YUII -- This stock just listed on the NASDAQ, so it already got it's short-term pop up to nearly 9. However, the stock is still trading at a P/E that doesn't begin to reflect it's growth and market leadership in the day-old broiler market. I'm not currently in this one, I was in just under 6 and out just over 8, but it's my fallback position after a couple of my short-term picks reach price targets. I like it long-term, but it is just outside of my top 5 for the short-term right now. Great company, great stock.
I still like EBIX and APWR to reach at least 50% gains this year, but the stocks above should be more explosive, with almost guaranteed pops for CHWY and LLFH after listing. Good luck in 2010. I've enjoyed learning the ropes in 2010, and I look forward to an aggressive 2010.
