The 3 Types of Airline Employees

February 09, 2007 – Comments (1)

I just received an interesting email from a former Delta employee who, after reading one of my articles, noted that Delta probably isn't a good investment since management is not committed, not focused on the long-term, and not operating in a profitable niche.

I found this interesting because most of the email we get from airline folks is extremely confrontational and rejects any and all criticism (and yes, I have personal experience here). Anyway, I wrote this gentleman back and he replied that there are three types of airline employees:

1. Kool-Aid Drinkers

2. Non Kool-Aid Drinkers

3. Former Kool-Aid Drinkers

I thought that was a pretty funny summation. Anyhow, enjoy your weekends, and let's hope Georgetown absolutely sticks it to Marquette tomorrow starting at 12pm EST on ESPN. Look for me in Section 121, Row K.

Be Fool,

I hear you on confrontational airline employees. It's painful opening my inbox after some of my airline pieces. Oh well.
