Americans loaned each other about $25 TRILLION dollars over the past ten years so we could consume and service each other to create the illusion of an economy.  The JOKE is Wall Street sold us on this debt without many of us even knowing we were lending our retirement away, and stuck it in our pension plans, life insurance companies, community banks, and investment accounts.

YUP...we loaned the money to families, businesses, cities, counties, states, schools, universities, hospitals, private equity funds....you name it we loaned it and they spent it driving the greatest granite consumption boom in history.

Now we are running out of money and those that used to borrow and were the productive segment of the economy are running out of funds to build, manufacture and sell.  The lazy savers that don't spend very much to drive jobs and growth probably don't even know they lent out their savings if they are in a pension, or 401K or 403B.....

And some of you Fools think the Chinese hold our debt???....no silly goose....we own our debt and we owe the money to each other....and if we can't pay, than fewer will be able to retire.....and if we print, than no one will be able to retire as the money we owe each other will be worthless.

WELCOME TO POTENTIALLY THE BIGGEST PONZI SCHEME IN HISTORY...AS WE PREPARE TO ENTER THE DIGITAL AGE AND WE JUST BAILED OUT THE BANKERS THAT FACILITATED THIS PLAN AND STUCK US WITH THE BAG?

WELCOME TO GOD'S WORK....ISN'T IT DEVINE DURING THIS LENTEN/PASSOVER/EID AND ANY OTHER HOLIDAY YOU MAY RESPECT SEASON?

I have taken to asking people, "When the first dollar was printed and lent to the government at interest, where did the money to pay the interest come from?" Their answers are nearly as amusing as the looks on (some of) their faces.
