The same thing happened in Australia and they are having the same problems now.  That’s why I just have to laugh whenever I talk to someone who believes things would be better if people didn’t have guns.

Gun control is a joke. Making something illegal is silly because criminals don't obey the law. If all guns in America were illegal THERE WOULD STILL BE GUNS IN AMERICA. Look at the war on drugs as an example.

My father-in-law just turned 95. For him, the right to bear arms has always been the 'hot button' issue in politics.  I never really understood why he was so dead set against any gun control.  He was certain that the first step down that path was the first of many - sort of the camel's nose in the tent analogy.  I get it now.  Thank you for opening my eyes.
