"For years I have enjoyed quality plastic containers made by Yu Wan Mei's excellent polymer injection facilities," said Ben John Son, a worker. "But until now, its fragrant fish by-products have not been available for purchase here in Midwestern America. Lucky for me, revolutionary new mass-production capabilities have allowed Yu Wan Mei to expand its sales territory to include Utah, where I reside!"

What's funny is that a lot of real, publicly-traded Chinese companies have websites about as well translated as this one.

Let's take it back a notch here. No one's being "anti-American." Watch the way the Chinese flag eats the American flag at the end of that video, and it is funny, especially given the tone of so much press coverage from within and without China as to the center of the world going forward. (You'll read it in TMF pages as well.)

As funny as these videos were today, I was actually read a piece of Chinese company PR today by a colleague that was worse (hilariously worse) than any of the satire in the thread above.

A requested that I not blog about the folks responsible, but let's just say it was difficult to figure out what was funnier in the literature: the impossible and outlandish claims for the product or the mangled syntax and spelling.

From the CEO bio...

You couldn't make it up if you tried.

I can't decide what is funnier - the fake Chinese company's website, or prose scolding people for not being sophisitcated.
