Big Picture has a post that give perspective on the numbers around the bailouts.

The numbers are beyond over whelming...

But, we see to think that government can do like Jesus, break the bread and make it go forever...

It would be cheaper to give someone gong into forclosure enough money to break even to sell the property, than to pay for all the bailouts. The money is not going to the true cause of the crisis, not that anyone should be bailed out. The administration of that kind of bailout is mind boggling. I guess the government could hire all the people that no longer have a job as a lending broker to administer those payments to home owners.

 Better yet, nationalize housing. Doesn't everyone have a right to housing? food? medical care? retirement? dental? braces? plastic surgery? I've been thinking about pec implants. Look out ladies.

Think about where we are. Everyone is entitled to retirement and whatever else has slipped in incrementally over time.
