The Fed Under Fire

American News Project has put together a great 8 minute video regarding the importance of the recent push to audit the Federal Reserve. I continue to become more hopeful as Ron Paul's HR 1207 bill gains more bi-partisan support. I would LOVE to see Ben Bernanke, et. al., on the stand, answering questions under oath, knowing that he could no longer LIE because the Fed's books have been audited!!!

JGus,

What happens to the dollar if we learn that the Fed is insolvent.  After all, it is simply a Federal Reserve Note.......................

Has anyone here read "The Secrets of the Temple"?

Sounds like a good book, but I'd like to know if it's conspiracy-theory ridden (meaning accusations, but no supporting data) or it's more of a "history of the KGB" type book.

I think you have misdirected "anger" buddy.  It's not Mr. Bernanke's fault the Bush Administration ran up huge federal deficits and instituted the first "tax-cut" during a time of war of any President in history!!  If anyone should take the stand...........oh well.

Relax, take the family on a summer vacation and go fishing.

Jgus, thanks much for the video.

For more on William Greider here is a link to his author page on Amazon. He has written prolifically on the topic of the government's subservience to banking and big business at the expense of ordinary citizens and democracy. I haven't read anything by him yet, but am putting some of his books on my reading list.

The FED is and always be under fire. Though people complain about the FED, no one seems to want to change anything about them.

So for now, we have them and we have to deal with them

 Just my opinion of course
