The Final Nail?

I keep thinking, what would be the final nail in this market's coffin?  I come up with 2 possibilities.  One, the banks get nationalized, or two, I read the morning headlines saying the autos went into bankruptcy.  I don't think either will happen, but I am at the point where I feel just do it and get the pain over with. I really don't want to see people get hurt, but I don't want to torture folks either. I see the transformation in the works (namely the ramifications of the aging of America), but I honestly don't understand why this has impacted the entire globe as it apparently has.  I thought the Eastern Europe block and Far East had separate legs for growth, but apparently not.

Where the bottom is, is anyone's guess now.  I fear we need to crash to 6kish on high volume before this bear market finally ends. Hope I am wrong, but the pundits keep saying we need capitulation to end the bear market.  I thought it was November, but maybe not.
