Welcome to a very special hungover Monday edition of The FoxForceJournal. Did a boozecruise with my homey Vlad across the Isle of Cyprus. (he needed to make a quick withdrawl)

If LegendPhoenix had plunked down 1 grand on 10/17/12 @ $16.26, thats 61.5 shares.

On 11/8/12 and 2/14/12 a .25 distribution was paid for the tidy sum of $30.75, so as of todays close of $19.92, that grand would be worth $1255.83.

Now Scruffys 40,000 shares are worth $502,332.

Nope, it's a well-managed company in a super-dull industry that has just announced a 25% increase to their dividend for the four quarters ending December 31, 2013.  Isn't this foxy roxy supposed to be dividend competition?

At any rate, SSW is my pick and I'm standing by it. Seaspan may not be as exciting as some of the other competition entries such as Apple, Raxspace, JCPenny or Microsoft.  I personally own this stock and although it may not win the competition, I've been pleased with it.  If slow growth, dividend increases and a good yield is "dead money," point me to the morgue.

I just really don't like all containership stocks as an investment. Many of them just are a money vortex since it's such a capital expendidture industry.SSW does look like the best of breed, but not something that I would look to invest in.

In writing these blogs I am simply giving my humble opinion on each of the stocks (while hopefully amusing the readers). Once I get to JCP,MSFT,RAX and APPL I might have to bash them also, unless I feel that Mr Market has them underpriced.

Off topic, hey man are you the proud papa of a young Jedi yet?

Feel free to bash RAX.  I feel like doing a bit of bashing myself.  Fact is, I am losing on two fronts.  I am in the unhappy position of sweeping the bottom on your contest (yeah, someone has to) even though, oddly, I bought it at a price that allows me to still be looking at a profit.  And I lost a cousin this weekend that has been my "other brother" for the last 50 years.  so - off topic for me too -

Please, Please watch out for motorcycles while you are driving.  The riders are so very vulnerable to cars.  Be exta careful. Thanks guys.

And I wasn't really trying to bash Microsoft, JCPenny, Apple or Racspace.  I own shares of two of those companies myself.  I appreciate your write-ups, Harry and I wanted to add my 2 cents.  Sorry if I came off as defensive.

My wife JUST started her contractions!  I may have someone for you guys to meet by the end of the day.  Wish me luck, you American foxes.
