You simply don't need near as many jobs in the Digital Age as you maintained in the Industrial Age.  The problem is our laws, assets, economic system, government structure, and pricing are all set in an Industrial Age model.  There will be massive layoffs ahead and the changes will be convulsive....

The question is how will our nation adjust when we simply stop consuming close to what we did before in an economy that existed simply because of massive consumption?

Isn't it funny how Benny the B talks about recovery when practically every school  district, hospital, city, county, state, and businss is contracting?
