The Industrial Age Is Over

April 28, 2011 – Comments (3)

The evidence is right before your eyes.....America is now running a $1.6 trillion dollar deficit.  This "deficit" is not borrowed anymore, it is simply printed out of thin air.  It may be hard for many of you to believe, but it is true.

James Grant Lectures Bernanke & Greenspan, Says "QE Is Nothing But ...

Even some Fed Governors now admit QE is simply printing money.  Without the deficit, our tax receipts would evaporate and our Industrial economy would implode.

Things have gotten so extreme that former Treasury Secretary Paul Oneil says that anyone not willing to raise the deficit debt ceiling is essentially the equivalent of Al-Qaeda.  From Mr. Oneil's perspective, this is true because he knows the world as he knows it, HIS FREEDOM to control the lives of others, will be over....the same way the Southern Farmers thought their lives would be over if we abolished slavery.

Paul O'Neill: People Who Refuse To Raise The Debt Ceiling Are "Our Version Of Al-Qaeda Terrorists"

Now that the Industrial Age is on its last legs....a new system will develop.  It will develop around labor saving and resource saving Digital Technology.  My kids can play for hourse with digitally delivered games, books, music and movies.  They can even interact with children around the neighborhood and around the world....WITHOUT CONSUMING any non renewable resources.

Soon they will go to school this way just like children in India are doing today.  The resource and financial savings will be unprecedented....but those people who control from an Industrial paradigm will lose control.

But don't expect Industrial wealth to go down easy, they will change the laws, change accounting rules, fight and start wars simply to maintain control.  But just like everytime humanity struggled for FREEDOM....humanity will prevail, but the cost will likely be high.

When its over, we will set the platform for the Digital Age...and Age of sustainable prosperity....and only then will you look back at Alstry and say:

It really was not the end of the world, simply the end of the world as we knew it.....

and Alstry wanted nothing from us, he functioned out of love.....all he wanted was us to PREPARE...and NOT FEAR....for everyone deserves freedom.

Digital Technology will repace hundreds of millions of jobs in upcoming years:

Philadelphia School District - Plans 3,820 Job Cuts

Panasonic - 40,000 Layoffs Worldwide by End of 2012

Nokia - 7,000 Jobs Worldwide

Dish Ntwk to Close Over 1000 Blockbuster Stores

NASA to Cut 2,800 Space Shuttle Contractors

In the Digital simply do not need nearly as many people working in their current functions....what we don't know yet is what will future functions be?

It very well may be FIGHTING for Food and Fuel for a period of time....who knows?

Our other choice is to restructure into a new system.

If the economy collapses there will be nothing digital at all.  High tech devices depend on industrialism.  If the economy collapses who will build and maintain this digital world?  You should see a psychiatrist and tell him your theories.  I would bet you money he recommends some form of medication or treatment for your delusions.

No they don't....Hi Tech devices depend on human labor and natural resouces.  Going forward, human labor will play less importance.

The natural resources are an independent function of humanity and the Industrial Age.

Human labor can be obtained by money (the means to obtain the production of another).  Money comes in three forms:

All three are effective means to obtain the production of others and all three have been effectively used since the inception of humanity.

America was created out of FORCE.  The Taj Majal was built from LOVE.  And most human relationships exchange production through barter of one sort or another.

Now that the Industrial Age is reaching its final days...expect unemployment to skyrocket:
