The Industrial Age Is Over

The evidence is right before your eyes.....America is now running a $1.6 trillion dollar deficit.  This "deficit" is not borrowed anymore, it is simply printed out of thin air.  It may be hard for many of you to believe, but it is true.

Even some Fed Governors now admit QE is simply printing money.  Without the deficit, our tax receipts would evaporate and our Industrial economy would implode.

Things have gotten so extreme that former Treasury Secretary Paul Oneil says that anyone not willing to raise the deficit debt ceiling is essentially the equivalent of Al-Qaeda.  From Mr. Oneil's perspective, this is true because he knows the world as he knows it, HIS FREEDOM to control the lives of others, will be over....the same way the Southern Farmers thought their lives would be over if we abolished slavery.

Now that the Industrial Age is on its last legs....a new system will develop.  It will develop around labor saving and resource saving Digital Technology.  My kids can play for hourse with digitally delivered games, books, music and movies.  They can even interact with children around the neighborhood and around the world....WITHOUT CONSUMING any non renewable resources.

Soon they will go to school this way just like children in India are doing today.  The resource and financial savings will be unprecedented....but those people who control from an Industrial paradigm will lose control.

But don't expect Industrial wealth to go down easy, they will change the laws, change accounting rules, fight and start wars simply to maintain control.  But just like everytime humanity struggled for FREEDOM....humanity will prevail, but the cost will likely be high.

When its over, we will set the platform for the Digital Age...and Age of sustainable prosperity....and only then will you look back at Alstry and say:

It really was not the end of the world, simply the end of the world as we knew it.....

and Alstry wanted nothing from us, he functioned out of love.....all he wanted was us to PREPARE...and NOT FEAR....for everyone deserves freedom.
