I've been in a state of quasi hibernation over the past several days -- rendered all the more bizarre by the freakishly warm weather -- in order to determine my top 10 picks for silver in 2012.

Sinch I just did some quick research on Trevali Mining, I really think this one will be a winner especially in the short term (2012) as their Halfmile Mine just commenced production..

 low share count, management owns 10+ percent, and a number of upcoming catalysts (Numerous drill results from Stratmat, Updated 43-101 resource estimate (Q1-Q2 2012),Santander enters production (Q2-Q3 2012), positive earnings reports.

I had a neat thing happen this AM.

I purchased 4000 shares of a small miner around 11 am.  When I checked the stock quote afterward, my purchase accounted for the total volume of the stock for the day, so far.

Wow.

I don't know if, that is good or bad.  :)

Sky... when you know what you're buying, and you have no intention of ever needing to sell in a hurry, then fear not the question of how few fellow U.S. investors have seen fit to venture onto the pink sheets for access to a Canadian stock.
