This is what CNBC and all the other financial talking heads would have offered as context for the recent breakout in precious metals if they had even an inkling of fundamental insight into this market. Instead, they were at a complete loss for words. The best was when Dennis Kneale said to a guest something along the lines of (paraprhasing): "but I thought gold was a panic trade".

Recent fundamental developments from Asia are the untold story behind this golden breakout.

It continues to be a ferocious breakout.

I called it from a technical perspective before Wednesday's move.
