The Worst Is Just Beginning
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- Consumer optimism is falling at the fastest pace since the 1990-91 recession, according to a weekly survey released Tuesday by ABC News and the Washington Post. The ABC/Post consumer comfort index fell four points to negative 37 this past week, the lowest reading since November 1993.
