Casualties of the San Diego’s budget crisis aren’t limited to the ranks of municipal employees. The San Diego Police Department is letting 12 highly trained police dogs go because of budget cuts.

“They have been an outstanding tool, and it’s difficult for us to loose them,” said Assistant Chief Robert Kanaski. The department will save about a $500,000 on special K-9 patrol cars, vet bills, food and extra pay for dog handlers, Kanaski said.

Starting in 2010....the speed at which America shuts down will accelerate.....as spending cuts back, revenues will contract across the nation and massive numbers of jobs will be cut and millions of businesses will shut down.

When you only bail out a few Wall Street banks and tighten credit, raise interest rates, or cut off credit to the rest of the economy and nation.......our domestic based consumer economy shuts down, revenues to government evaporate, and values for just about everything that is not artifically propped up implode faster than a chimp can eat bananas.

Few are prepared for 2010 as it happens....around the world:

Without any warning, a nationally recognized computer-training company, with two metro Detroit campuses, has closed its doors to students.

ComputerTraining.edu's Web site states that the shutdown occurred after the school's primary financier, BB&T Corp., froze its accounts and line of credit and began seizing its assets. The Web site directs students seeking refunds to contact education officials in their state, listing contacts in Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Sometimes Zombulation is good Alstry, it shakes out the weak hands like that horrible ComputerTraining.edu.  They had very annoying radio ads and even worse they would hunt you down to no end if you took their "computer skills challenge" online.  A proper education could be had from a local community college for much less money.  Now people who were scammed into their $25,000 6-month program are left with nothing but a bad taste in their mouths.

Good riddance to ComputerTraining.edu!!!  Sometimes even the scammers can't keep their businesses running in tough times!
